Ben Z. Drillings, D.C.
Dr. Drillings directs the a2zHealth Massage Schools and Ben Drillings Chiropractic, Inc. in Thousand Oaks and Reseda. Dr. Drillings graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1990. Before that he studied physical education and exercise physiology at C.W. Post College, Long Island University in New York, where he received a soccer scholarship. He finished his undergraduate education at Regent College in New York. Dr. Drillings is a Certified Sports Physician.
Rachel Okashi
Rachel is our academic administrator since 2003. Her primary goal is to maintain an optimal educational environment for all the students as well as supervising and catering to the needs of the students, instructors and office staff.
Diane Furbeyre, D.C.
Dr. Furbeyre received her license to practice in California in 1994. She attended University of Southern California where most of her six siblings went to school; her mother is former head department librarian. Her experience in providing chiropractic care includes a background in serving those with personal and work-related injuries. Her philosophy of including chiropractic care as part of one's wellness program together with massage therapy goes hand-in-hand with the mission of the a2zHealth Massage Schools.
Lisa Ianiro, L.M.T., L.E., B.A.
Ms. Ianiro has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, and has been working in our school as a massage therapy instructor for more than four years. She's been practicing as a massage therapist for more than eight years, and as an esthetician for four years. She teaches courses in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Aromatherapy. Her main goal is to teach how to heal through the art of Masssage Therapy.
Ruth Ayala, C.M.T.
Ms. Ayala has been a massage therapist for over 10 years. She worked in chiropractic offices, spas, gyms and is specialized in different kinds of modalities. Ruth teaches Swedish Massage, Anatomy and a variety of advanced classes at a2zHealth Massage Schools.
Elizabeth Buckley, L.M.T.
Ms. Buckley received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from UCLA in 1980 and later completed coursework towards her Master of Science degree in Food Science at California State University Northridge. She served as Director of Food Technology for Marriott Corporation in Burbank, California, was a diet and exercise technician at the Pritikin Longevity Center in Santa Monica, California, worked as a physical therapy assistant at the Veterans' Administration in West LA and at St. Johns Medical Center in Santa Monica, California. Elizabeth is currently a licensed practicing massage therapist in Thousand Oaks, California and has been the evening instructor at at a2zHealth Massage Schools since 2005. She is also certified and teaching the Advanced Anatomy, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Nutrition, Trigger Point and Infancy & Pregnancy Massage classes.
Dragana Gobic, L.M.T.
Ms. Gobic is a Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and Bodywork, a Reiki Master, and Certified Holistic Health Practitioner. She brings ten years of experience in holistic healing arts to her teaching at a2zHealth Massage Schools. Dragana’s teaching experience includes Reiki, Shiatsu, Chakra Balancing and Swedish Massage. Her intention is to integrate a variety of healing modalities and offer a deeper exploration into the healing principles of therapeutic massage, integrating body, mind and spirit. Dragana is committed in bringing excellence to her teaching practice.
